Stop Global Warming Virtual March

GLOBAL WARMING HITS KIDS HARDER

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently reported that global warming is likely to disproportionately harm the health of children, and politicians should launch "aggressive policies" to avert the danger. According to the report, a warming planet leaves children more vulnerable to increased asthma, waterborne infections, and malaria. As the report's lead author stated, "This is not a political issue, it's a public health issue. If we know the health of children and future children is threatened, we have an obligation to act."

WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER $50,000 DONATION CHALLENGE
Our partner, the Windows Live Messenger's i'm Initiative is offering a Donation Challenge on Facebook. We could potentially get a $50,000 donation, but need your help.

To celebrate the new Windows Live, the i'm Initiative has issued this challenge: If membership in their "i'm Making a Difference" Facebook group hits 50,000 people before November 9, they'll give $50,000 to whichever cause gets the most votes. So please tell your friends, join the group, and vote for StopGlobalWarming.org. Every vote counts especially since Windows Live will still give $1 per member to the cause with the most votes, even if they don't hit their goal.
